My wife is a residential architect. Here’s a test print of one of her Sketchup models printed at no particular scale. I’m in the process of figuring out a workflow from Revit to STL (currently using Rhino3D as middleware) where I can actually have hollow volumes for rooms, real windows, and print to a meaningful scale.
This is my first print in ABS, and it shows characteristic warping along some of the edges. I’m happy with the detail of the windows and columns, despite the tiny scale (the dimensions of the model are ~120mm x 30mm x 50mm.) The overhangs are not pretty - my fan was out of commission at the time, and I definitely printed a little too fast. Also the brim had trouble detaching from some parts of the print.
