I printed out some risers for the upper Lack table. There’s lots of options available on Thingiverse, but I made my own using OnShape since I already had the plexi cut to size.
I’ll redesign the risers eventually to have a slot that the plexiglass can fit into at the bottom. For the top, I have brackets planned that will be held in place with magnets. You can get disc N52 neodymium magnets from China with ~6 week lead time from AliExpress for a few cents each. Here’s a side view of the patch panel from the printer (still need to do some cable management once I get the printer in its fixed location) as well as my solution for running a variable length cable for the heated bed. Make sure you have a 14AWG cable for the bed power.
I’m finally nearing the end of my Monoprice Clear PLA spool. Here’s the first layer after getting everything back together and calibrated:
